Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Doko will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training and affection he deserves.
Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy, we, nor our vets, cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be.
Health: Doko has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.
History: Doko comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.
Notes from Doko's Foster Home: Hi, Im Doko, a sweet, lovable guy that is searching for his forever home.  I have medium energy that loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle with any person or dog around. I will jump and run around when excited, and then fall in your lap ready to cuddle on the couch whenever the opportunity presents itself.  Im still a pup so sometimes my energy changes within minutes but it usually reflects the household

if youre up and going so am I, but if youre laying down and so are the other dogs Im right there by your side.
I am crate trained for the most part, will typically go in on my own (treats help when Im being stubborn) and I also dont have any accidents inside if given time to go the bathroom before.  I love to be around people and other dogs so if I know they are around I will sometimes whine if Im in the crate because I want to be with them, but will quiet down once the house does. I am potty trained on a schedule and getting better each day letting my foster parents know when it is time to go outside. I have a healthy appetite, always eager to finish my meal but am patient to wait until my bowl is set down. I walk nicely on a leash, sometimes pull when eager to get to the next sniffing spot but will quickly relax and look back often at my foster mom to make sure Im doing a good job.
While I do get along great with other dogs while in a home, I do bark at other dogs when out in public on a leash and will need someone calm and patient but stern to continue my training.  Im ready to build a loving relationship with my new family and Im excited to meet you to show you just how wonderful I can be!
Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
